The centre meeting place represents the great Vision for our thriving communities. The right meeting place show the Strength of our young leaders pushing this vision forward and the left meeting place acknowledges the groundwork and Legacy of our ancestors in getting us to where we are today, 50 years on.

The colours show brightness of our future, and the background elements represent and acknowledge the many journeys and hard work that have been done for our justice and equality.

The feet represents the young generation taking us into our future with courage and strength, closely under the guidance (the hands) of our ancestors and elders.

To me, NAIDOC 2025 represents HOPE as we stay connected and determined to have a bright and exceptional future for ALL Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples."
